Instagram to start getting into shopping

For those of you who don’t know Instagram is owned by Facebook and to keep the money rolling in Instagram have announced that they are going to start testing features  that will enable users to buy items that they love on the popular picture and video sharing service.

The suggestion is that they plan to connect shoppers with shops and earn revenue from the purchases. I must admit the team at Keep it Simple Websites  seem to think this is a great idea, with many fantastic products on Instagram that we would love to buy.

It is thought that the shopping experience will be streamlined with a Shop Now button and the ability to add more information. Mobile technology has changed the way people shop and this will certainly enable a seamless integration into peoples social feeds.
